Agreement and eligibility
By using Cross Court, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the service only for lawful, personal tennis matchmaking.
How Cross Court works
Cross Court uses AI-assisted voice onboarding and matching tools to build a tennis profile and suggest compatible players. You can review your profile before joining the matching pool. A suggestion is not a guarantee of compatibility, availability, identity, conduct, skill level, or safety. Contact details are shared with a proposed match only after both players agree to the introduction.
Calls and text messages
When you submit the onboarding form and select the voice and transcription consent boxes, you authorize Cross Court to conduct the AI-generated onboarding call or browser voice session you request. Voice and transcription consent is separate from text-message consent.
You may opt into recurring transactional texts by sending START from the messaging link next to the disclosed program terms or by selecting the optional text-message checkbox in the onboarding form. Those texts concern onboarding, profile review, matchmaking updates, and mutual tennis introductions. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Text-message consent is optional and is not a condition of using Cross Court. You represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number you enroll.
Reply STOP to opt out of Cross Court texts at any time. Reply START to opt back in, HELP for help, STATUS for a secure continuation link, or email will@willweinbach.com. A direct JOIN or STATUS request may receive a one-time service reply but does not by itself enroll you in recurring texts. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Player conduct and safety
You are responsible for your interactions, court arrangements, payments, transportation, equipment, and personal safety. Treat other players with respect. Do not harass, impersonate, discriminate, threaten, solicit, misuse contact details, or use Cross Court for commercial promotion. Meet in appropriate public locations and use your own judgment before and during any match.
Availability and changes
Cross Court is an evolving pilot. We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue features; decline or withdraw a match; or remove access when reasonably necessary for safety, compliance, service integrity, or misuse. We do not promise that a match will always be available.
Intellectual property
Cross Court and its original software, branding, content, and service design are protected by applicable law. You retain ownership of the information you provide and grant Cross Court permission to process it only as needed to operate, improve, secure, and comply with the service as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Cross Court is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cross Court and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for the acts or omissions of other players.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Questions may be sent to will@willweinbach.com.
